Arospeed coilover springs

Anybody used these springs yet?

http://www.autoall.com/store/moreinf...RO660004a.html

I live in michigan and want to be able to raise my car back up for the winter. Any feedback will be appreciated.

..not personally, but I had a friend or two with em... definitely not too bad a setup for a cheap sleeve-type coilover... make sure you invest in decent struts as well..

Re: Arospeed coilover springs

I'm not sure about the springs, I do know they aren't best. It seems like your trying to spend little money(i may be wrong) so check out Tokico HP's(blues). Get something adjustable if you can afford it - Koni yellows or Tokico Illuminas - KYB AGX does not recommend them to be used with sleeve springs

Dropping more that 2"? you will need a camber kit.

Ground Controls w/ Eibach springs are about the sleeve spring you can get.

..nothing at all like stock..haha.. no coilovers are going to be smooth like stock...especially cheap ones....they're all really really stiff..

like jackasssi said..ground controls are the best.. you can get custom spring rates to get the ride you're lookin for..

If they use sand or salt on the roads in Michigan, I wouldn't get Ground Control's. They're notorious for the set-screw stripping really easy. Unless they've been redesigned I wouldn't waste the $$$.

I have Skunkworks (before they became Skunk2) coil overs on my car & I love 'em. They've been through 4 years of ND winters (they use sand here) with no problems...

Re: Arospeed coilover springs

I am NOT looking for smooth. I am looking for handling. I need to figure out a good handling suspension setup that is relatively cheap and has the capability to raise up the car to stock height for the winter. I drive like a lunatic (third generation racer) and need a suspension setup up better than stock and way better than the blew out shit that is there now.

Re: Re: Arospeed coilover springs

Look into Tein Basic coilovers or the GC/koni yellow package.
