95 Tahoe Engine Hesitation/stutter
Having Trouble With My 95 Tahoe - Idles Fine, Starts & Runs Fine, But Has A Hesitation/stutter When Driving. Does This Around Town But Much More Noticeable Out On The Road With Cruise Control On. Runs Along Great But Every Once In A While It Has A Stutter That Almost Acts Like It Wants To Die For A Split Second, Then Right Back Running Fine Again. Nothing Obvious Showing Up To Me, So Input Would Be Greatly Appreciated. Thanks, Zacman

Change your fuel filter. Mine was just doing similar and that fixed it. Its cheap and easy.

It is a good idea to replace your Fuel Filter every year. Lots of reasons.
Your hesitation could also be caused by numerous other things. Next most likely cause might be sticking EGR Valve. Run a Complete Fuel System Cleaner through your Truck at every oil change. Prevention, Prevention, Prevention. DD |
