Modifications...

I just got a 1993 NX1600 A/T. At some point I intend to drop a bluebird in there but in the meantime I'd like to do some mods that will carry over.

So any suggestions on starter mods? Cold air intake, suspension, exhaust, cpu upgrade, etc.?

Anything you guys have done and think would suit me well? Please include the products you used an where you bought them as well.

I'm on an average budget and would like to pump the HP a bit.

iridium spark plugs, HKS Super Mega Flow intake or a GReddy trust intake. i just got sylvania silverstars to replace my stock headlight bulbs and they look amazing. im also getting a CatCo hi-flow cat for $35 off eBay installed soon. i also got a new bosch o2 sensor for like $80.

One thing's for sure, DON'T get the CPU upgrade. Waste of money if you're gonna swap for a BB.

I LIVE IN JAMAICA WHERE SPEED IS KING AND HAVING OWNED A NX 16000 WITH THE GA15 I NEEDED MORE SPEED. HENCE I REPLACED THIS WITH THE BLUEBIRD SR20 AND MAN CAN THE DAM THING MOVE. WHEN I HAD HAD THE GA15 I DID MOD LIKE HEADERS,WEBBER CARB(45S) AND ELECTRONIC UPGRADES LIKE MSD COILS, WIRES AND IGNITION BOX. THEY ALLL IMPROVED HP BUT NONE LIKE THE SWAP

and that will all net you 2-5hp.
those sylvanias probably will add 25-50 hp though.
