Web cam and lifters??

Ok so I recently installed a web cam to give my N/A a little extra go. I put so assembly gresse on the lifters to keep them in place while I put the cam housing on and it went on fine and everything seems in order but the darn thing won't start. The fuel is getting there and the spark is getting there too but the valves just aren't opening so my best guess is that the lifters aren't pumped up with oil. I just changed my oil and put in a lighter weight too 5 - 30W I tryed to start it 3 times and still no good. so if anyone thinks of a solution please help me out.

Thanks in advance

Re: Web cam and lifters??

Even if the lifters are not pumped up the car should still run it will just be noisy. I would check the timing or dist. cap or rotor
