anti freeze leak after getting cam and lifters done in my 3.4

I have a spray of anti frezze coming from around my water pump area spraying all over the place, this only happened since the garage put a new cam and lifter in my car, only have had her back now for 3 days,is it possible the water pump is now leaking,i can't see any other leaks from anywhere, checked all hoses and clamps but can see it spraying out around the water pump pully area

this is probably a gasket, the water pump weep hole won't spray out like a poorly installed gasket..

bring it back to the boobs to fix again...

ok this is the 4th trip back to the garage that did my cam and lifter replacement, evertime i go there they say a do a pressure test on it and can't find the leak ,the other day i had her there they could'nt find it,wiped off the fron of the fans area where it is spraying on and around the plastic cover attached to the water pump on top,it was dry when i took the car home the last time and now is wet again, think they are playing games,is it possible when they took everything off to do the cam the water pump got disturbed and now leaks or just a coinensedance that it is now leaking, think they know the pump is leaking and now that the warranty claim is gone through don't want to be responsible for the repaire,is there anything i can put in the rad to stop or repair the leak,i suspect it's coming through the weep hole in the pump and thats why its spraying on the fans shrouds and all over my belt as it drips down when started up and is causing my belt to slip and the lights and heater die down,in the night with the engine runninng and i take a flashlight ans=d shine in on the pump area i can see little sprays of water, antifreeze going in circles

It does'nt sound like your getting anywhere with these guys. If your not confident enough to find the leak on your own, I would take it to another reputable shop and get a second opinion. Have them diagnose it and make an estimate, something in writing, that you can take these guys so that they have to either tell you they won't stand behind their work or they will and they will fix it.

I agree with billn2....
also the water pump weep hole leaking , use a mirror and locate hole use white cloth/tissue and see if you get antifreeze there..
how much coolant have you replaced since the repair? If you have had to add and they did a leak test they are for sure not to be trusted...having another person as a witness is important when returning the vehicle for them to repair and also making a report to the insurance company with your problems of this failed repair, is important...

had the car there for 2 hours again today, they still cannot find the leak even after the pressure test again,i told him it is the water pump spraying out from the weep hole and they said if they repalce the water pump then i would be charged for the pump and labour and said if they did this and there was still a leak some where then replacing the pump would be a waste of my money so i took the car back and as soon as the weather warms a little i'm going to replace the pump myself,i know thats where it's coming from they just did'nt want to do it cause they would be resonsible for buying and repalcing the pump themselves so i said that i;ll do it myself and would'nt be back anymore

If they replaced the cam than they would have had to remove the timing cover. There are coolant passages in that cover, which is the same part the water pump attaches to. It could be possible that the gasket on the cover is leaking and not the water pump.

I'm kind of confused you said it is "spraying" so you must be able to see it. If you can see it without a pressure tester than you should be able to point to the spray when you have it at the shop.
