Brake Problem

My girl friend owns a 99 Cougar. About a year ago when ever you would step on the brakes it would start to shake the steering wheel a little. I thought it was the router wearing out. they did look really bad so I replaced them also put new pads. That seem to have stop it for about a day. Now when you press the brakes it makes the whole steering wheel and the dash to shake really bad. Can any one help?

Re: Brake Problem

If it stopped for a day you were on the right track.
Who put the new rotors and pads on? Did they tourque all the lugs with a tourque wrench? If not,
you could have new warped rotors. The lugs all have to be tourqued to the same ft.lbs.
