best spring shock setup?

im getting a suspension kit for my 2001 accord 4Dr 4Cyl i was wondering if u guys could help me pick out the best spring and shock setup..i was looking at the h&r cup kit. basically im jus looking for a good clean smooth ride..and lower from anywhere to 1.5-2 inches

Unless you want to go true full coilovers, you basically answered your own question by what you have in mind.

Otherwise as for seperates, Koni Yellow shocks, and either Ground Control coils if you want height adjustable, or Tein S.Tech, Neuspeed Sports, or Eibach Pro Kit for general single height lowering springs with a good ride.

That's all of what I'd recommend at least.
