2005 mustang gt specs

Hi my friend likes mustangs I think they are cool too. He wants to know if the 2005 mustang is supposed to be fast or just a show car. Does anyone know the 1/4 mi times or 0-60 times? We would appreciate the help.

Re: 2005 mustang gt specs

The 0-60 is around 5.2 seconds and the 1/4 mile is something like 13.8-13.9.

Hey HiFlow5 0,
Thanks for all the links on the 2005 Mustang. I just checked my F.I.C.O. score and I'm stoked because I think I'll be able to afford the payments.

You lucky bastard, lol!!!! I also looked into it with my credit union, and payments for me would have been something like $550 a month for 5 years. With everything else thats going on right now, it would be too much for me to worry about at the moment. Maybe next year after shit settles.

Just wait until all of those mint condition, lease-returns, become available. The depreciation rate of a Mustang is a double-edged sword. It's a bitch if you buy a new one, but you can save a grip of cash on a used one.

Re: 2005 mustang gt specs

Alright dude that other guy has no idea what he is talking about. I used to race Mustangs so i know. A stock Mustang Gt pushes out about 300 hp @ 3000 rpm's. The Mustang i raced was a 2005 mustang Gt Outlaw meaning fully loaded Nos the whole 9 yards. But it ran 1/4 mile in 7.88. 0-60 in about 3.88 i think it was,i would have to double check. But Stock they run about 10.5's @ a 1/4 mile stock. If you wanna know more just reply i know my cars trust me ive been a mechanic since i was 12.

Either or this is a sarcasm of some sort.

1/4 Mile or 1/8th mile?

So you was a professional Certified mechanic since you were 12, or you was a tool B!^(# since 12 and think you know cars?

I've been both the tool B!^(# and wrench puller since I was a little kid, and I do everything but major body work, and been to trade school. Guess what, I don't know squat about cars. I know alot about certain specific cars, and I know how cars work, and the principle of all the components. I can get just about any car running, and rebuild engines and transmissions, do minor body work and shoot paint, but I won't claim that I know alot about cars, it's not like I have worked on every single type of car, from every maker. I can build a car from the ground up, starting completely from scratch, but I still don't know squat.....

Re: 2005 mustang gt specs

Hi guys, I've got an '05 and I've done a liitle tweekin on mine. With a XCal2 tuner and a cold air intake, It runs 12.60's @107 on sticky tires. Not bad for a pretty much "stock" car.Check out this websit .....http://www.brenspeed.com/customers/brenspeed05.html
