You talk about the Mustang being an unoriginal retro piece that people will grow tired of but that's one of its selling points. One reason you hear people put down the GTO is because it's NOT a retro and has no styling that is with its roots.
As for the Camaro Firebird debate they should of been faster. If I'm going to pay $5,000-$10,000 more I better have the faster car or I'm going to be mad. Sadly, the cost factor was one of the down falls of the Camaro and Firebird.

Yeah, those '03 and '04 Cobras were crap! Even though several people are saying they're the best straight line performance buy out there and with a few simple bolt ons you'll be in the 10s and 11s in no time. Also to add the block, transmission, driveline, ect can take up to 1000 horse power right from the factory. Yeah, sounds like a real pile of junk to me.

What type of Mustang was it: V6, GT, Cobra, Saleen, or a Roush? Also, if it's such a piece of crud why do you still own it?

Sounds to me like you don't take very good care of your car if it peels that fast.

Yeah, even though GM cancled their major rear wheel drive platform because they said they couldn't mass produce it at a cheap and reliable cost like the Mustang can.

Again, that's your opinion but ok. I must say though if the GTO is an example of "good" styling by GM's part in your eyes then you must literally be blind. I mean it's alright if you like a Grand Am with a LS-2 dropped into it.

All show and no go, lets break that down shall we? A 2005 Mustang GT runs $25,000 but it's running high due to demand. For $25,000 I get a car with sexy looks 300 horse power, 300 pounds of torque, can get mid 13's in the quarter mile, and fair handling for a solid rear axle.
If you're going to compare an '06 ricer burner to an '05 Mustang I'll do the same. I'll go up a year as well and put the '07 SVT GT-500 against your '06 rice burner and have the last laugh.
