Force air induction

I have a quick question. If I could rig up some setup would Hooking up a small air compressor into the intake manifolds by way of the cold air intake, would this increase performance. It would allow more air flow, would this hurt anything. It may sound dumb but I want to do somthing that would be very unique. I was thinking about drilling a hole into the air intake and connecting a hose that will run to the compressor. Then hook up the compressor to a power invertor inside the car. Any Ideas, any comments , feedback would be nice

Re: Force air induction

Its called the electrci supercharger, and similar, on Ebay. There is a recent thread on it as well. Wont hurt anything, but it wont help much. But hey, I always encourage poeple to try things out for themsleves rather than what they read on the internet, so go for it and post the results.

Way too many problems...knock, and the gas and O2 would burn too WAY TOO HOT!!! (that is why there is nitrogen in n2o, too cool it down )

Re: Force air induction

Straight O2 is far too dangerous. You would need a special license to carry it, never mind run it in your car Thats why nitous oxide is used. One third oxygen, more stable than straight O2.
