Yellow Check Emission Light in Acura 2.3CL

Recently, the yellow Check light in the dashboard of my 1999 2.3CL has come on and is not going away.
The manual says that it may be because the fuel cap was not tightly put back on or maybe due to emission problems.

Has anyone ever faced this problem?

Any feedback on how to get this thing sorted out will be highly appreciated.

The Yellow Check Light appear in my car too.The problem was the O2 sensor.I hope that helps.
