OMG LOL! but really i bet the GT i mean 5.0 v-8 vs umm 3.8 or whatever the Chevy v-6 is. I bet stang got the wing even with a good driver in the firebird.

I think the stang would take it in the 1/8th, but i dunno about the 1/4...both 15 second cars right?

according to msn autos GM 3.8L V6 has 200hp and 225ft lbs.

eh. Mustang GT. No doubt. A 199X Pontiac Firebird V6 was running 17's here. Dont know if it was the 3.4 or the 3.8 though.

both being good drivers the stang would take the bird no doubt, but not by a lot. maybe by like .5 - .8 second, my guess.

If she knows what she id doing and given that the stang doesn't have many mods i would say the bird. 1. its newer and second its a stick(if she can drive). I have a friend who drives a 96 camaro with the 3.8 manual with magnaflow muffler and he can take most of the G.T's in town. At the strip he raced a 96 GT the red lighted the start and my friend still beat him bearly. He ran a 15 flat with a sorry take off. Not kidding. But maybe his car is just wierd. It is quik for a six i have driven it.
