Re: blower motor resistor?

i replaced mine in abvout 45 minutes, it a pain in the ass to get to though, its on the passanger side under the dash. pull the little cover off and reach all the way up there (its a ways up there) and there 3 screws to take it out. I just undid 2 screws and lossened the one thats hard to get to and moved it around to get it out. let me know if you need more info

Re: blower motor resistor?

Yup, pain in the ASS. I left the hard get at screw in the back in, just loosened it a little.

How much does a new resistor cost, and how much would a dealer charge to replace it? I recently had mine replaced under (extended) warrenty, and I'm just curious as to how much money I saved myself.
