Need some opinions....

I'm gonna attempt to do my first body kit. its an easy one, I wanna try to do an Revmotion front lip for the Toyota Celica on the Tamiya kit, now, it is pretty easy to do using the Revell ITR front lip. and i'll cover it in carbon fiber.

now here's my question. using this front lip, I've considered putting a CF Wind Splitter on the front, but i'm affraid its gonna look retarded. so what yuns think, do a CF wind splitter with the CF Revmotion lip or not?

Hmm, the CF wind splitter with the Revmotion would looks pretty cool, BUT it depends what color you paint it. Say you paint it red, then I think it would look retarded. Something like silver, grey, black would look good with the CF wind splitter. But if you are looking to paint your car a certain color. EX: Red. Then I suggest you don't put the CF wind splitter because it will look "WIERD". That's my opinion. I haven't yet attempted to build my first body kit yet. My supplies haven't arrived from HLJ yet and I can't work in such a small dinky apartement.

Well, back on subject.

A CF wind splitter would look wierd though.. Hmm.. I think the silver Celica on the bottom looks better than the red one with only the lip. I think it might be because the guy that owns the silver Celica added a stripe going down the hood of the hood. I think you'll have to see the whole car to actually judge it. If you're just going for something nice and simple I would say go for the red Celica. Hmm.. I wonder if I'm making any sense..

GOOD LUCK!

I would think you could build the 'kit' and leave the splitter seperate.
You might be able to make it in such a way that you can easily attach it.

I've got a project with the same issue. I don't know if a splitter will look good or not, so, I'm going to leave it off till the paint is finished, then I can see how it looks.

i'd say go with one or the other. just because with a wind splitter it would look good to have the body kit go upward from there. though if you use the first lip and the splitter it could add levels to the front bumper. well really its up to you, but i'd go with one or the other.

here's alot better shot of the Revmotion lip, and this is alot better then the red one. and the WInd Splitter would deffinently look wierd on this. so I'm gonna go with just the Revmotion lip. thanks for all you opinions.

BTW, My Tamiya Celica will be painted black,
