95 Grand Am 3.1 starting problems

A couple of days ago my grand am's starter went out, well i got it replaced and everything but i had to wait a couple of days till i got paid to get a new one and when i put it in and tried to start my car it was trying to start but it wouldn't , i can get it started with starting fluid but it wont stay running, i thought the fuel lines were froze but its been 3 days now and if they are froze ive tried everything and it wont work, could it be that the fuel pump may have froze then burnt out when i was trying to get it started? i checked the one valve and the gas barely runs but as i was heating it up the flow started to get stronger but it still was very weak. I dont know much about cars so if anyone could give me some advice it would help out a lot.
