Completed: Tamiya Lotus Super 7 in orange
What can I say? The car come out ok - but I must say, it's a very fiddly car to build being that it appears to be true to scale and is, therefore, rather small! It's painted Tamiya Bright Orange over a Gold base coat - this was the 1st time I airbrushed the whole car. The wheels are from the Fujimi Skyline - true, they stick out but after looking at the suspension - I decided against any "surgery". The chrome bits are Alcad - again a first for me and looking back I could have been a little more patient and done a better job (esp. the windscreen) - but live and learn!!
 The engine is wired to the bare minimum - and once again, another first!! (incidentally, the seatbelts and wires were purchased from scaleracecars.com - awesome service - 1 week all the way to Australia!!). Appologies for the picture quality - its evening here and besides the weather ain't too good either!

Great stuff Chaos.
What effect did using a gold undercoat have on the orange finish? I didn't like the wheels at first but they are growing on me already!

Bravo!!
but I am still used to the look with Panasport wheels... but those R33 wheels are neat.

excellent! I had this kit myself, almost completed it and by the time the body was all done I lost most of the parts mysteriously
