Re: MY Type R SUBS
Depends if the amp is reliable. What brand and model is it?

Re: MY Type R SUBS
I've heard that even feeding the Type R's the recommended 300 watts barely gets them moving. I've only seen 2 setups with Type R's in person. 1 person was running 2 Type R 1241D's with a Memphis amp running 1 ohm which gave the subs 1000 watts. And I've seen 2 Type R 1221D's with the Alpine MRD-M1000 amp wired for 2 ohms. Both systems sounded great. the one running the mrd was in a sealed box and it sounded really good. The other setup with the memphis amp was in a huge ported box and that thing really fucking hit. Can't really tell you anything about sound quality for that one because it was sitting in a stereo shop.
