Question new '84, need some help

hey all, any assistance would be appreciated. i just got an 84 Celica
GT-S and i have some problems:
-minor rough idle
-engine bangs a little bit
-replaced the plugs and #4 had a drop of water on it
-shifter is really loose
-has a rough time starting, but once going, it runs semi-smooth
-where can i find the power window components?

i just changed the oil today, and to my horror, the oil was like thick mud, and it stank really bad. i'm thinking about a overhaul but i dont know if there is anything else i can do before i have to overhaul. other than that, the car is okay. what do y'all think?
