New to this and need to change an alternator
I have an 89 Accord and the alternator went,...just when I had to go to an interview,...anyway when I looked at the location of the alternator it seems that there is now easy way to get this thing out. Can anyone please give me some ideas??

Re: New to this and need to change an alternator
You'll need to pull out the drivers side drive axle. This allows the room to drop the alternator down

Re: New to this and need to change an alternator
What a bizarre thread. Started in January, hijacked the same day, then received a response today. Boy, I hope the poor guy/gal wasn't driving around with a dud alternator for 5 months!
