Question bypass alpine security features

okay, just bought alpine iva d900. got it all hooked up and it works great. but theres this stupid ritual where you have to press the brake then engage, disengage, and reengage the e-brake for dvd to play.

my question is can you run the ebrake wire to a toggle switch and ground the other wire and then perform the same ritual. or any other suggestions would help before i pull the deck back out.

really want dvd to play while driving.
