650 HP Eclipse?

What should I do/buy for havin more or less 650 hp from my 2g GS-T?
I can use also components for race use only, but i prefer that the components have long life(10000-15000 miles without spending 10000$ or more for change it). Money isn't a problem, I got so much time for realize my dream.

Well if money is no problem... start with one of these http://www.ffwdconnection.com/dsm2.htm that way you've got a perfect base to work off. Then go with a rediculous race turbo. Look on forcedperformance.com or dsmparts.com for ideas. and see where you're at. Add some serious tunning and you might... and I say might, be close. 650 HP is f'in insane to pull out of a 4 cylinder. But more power to you. ur going to have to work internals, thats all i have ta say. You better make sure everything else on your car is in excellent condition when you reach that kind of power. ACT 2900 lbs will be needed or something stronger (i dunno), horrible for daily drive. Ah...not sure bout other stuff....get a turbonetics t66, big turbo. Ull need a huge intercooler, n ull have to cut off some of the front bumper, which is lame. You might need nitrous if you cant pull it off with big turbo.

This is a waist of money and time for a DSM. Theres one guy who hit around 600 in sport compact car w/o nitrous. He did a hell of a latta work. To be honest, i think u prolly wont even reach 400. Just cuz if you have to ask how to get up to 600 hp, you obvously dont know anything about these cars.

Why not buy a GSX if money dont matter?

Ya, A GS-T is not a good base to start with for a 650hp car. If you have the money to spend do it right. Get a 99 GSX, and go from there. I have seen full race motors with about 650WHP, just buy one of those. ANd you are done. But this engine will not be reliable. Ona car that is literly tripling the stock power you will not have much in the way of reliability. 10000-150000 miles is near impossible. With that kind of power your going to blow something up.

Y do you want to get that kind of power anyway? Is this car for drag? Or are you going with a daily driver?
Cause if you are going with a daily driver then i would not ecede 450hp. Even that will give you more problems than you want to deal with.
I think maby you should reconsider what you will be using the car for and make a realistic goal.

i think you would tear the drivetrain out of a GS-T with that kind of power, first of all. second, where did you get this # from? this is a FF car. you will spin the sires like crazy. you would also have to have a completely raced out engine and a huge turbo. in short you will have to replace EVERYTHING. now if you are looking for 400whp, that is VERY attainable with ONLY bolt on's.

ok, since you asked about it, here you go, but realize this is an AWD GSX, not a FF GS-T[and everyone else notice it is tuned with AEM EMS -not- DSMLink!!! *i like EMS better, so that's why i mention it ]

I always laugh when I see these posts. 99% of people on this site don't know what 650 horsepower means. If you mean 650 wheel horsepower you're off your rocker.

The Ferrari F1-2000 is a 3 liter V10 with 770bhp mid engine rear drive, 7 speed semi-automatic sequential. 600kg / 1300 lbs

damm i was just hoping for a modest 350wheel hp and 400wheel hp fully wrked, but 650 omg thats a hell of a lot.. i can go to stop lite a to stoplie b in .5 sec! now dats fast, common be realistic, a 650hp street car, where can u drive that? and 650hp is a hell of a lot of wrk, rist tune your car to about 300hp @ wheels then report back and tell us if you need another 350+hp..
