1996 SC 2 Suggestions Please

My SC2 has a 2 and 3/16 Monza Pacesetter exhaust which i had put on 3 weeks ago. It drove fine when i put it on and 2 days later i was coming up the highway when i just felt extremely restricted and a loss of power which is still ther today. i unclipped the egr valve and it is drivable, i replaced O2 sensors and a fuel filter. What else is there to do?

I would think that after putting on the new exhaust that 1. it would allow more exhaust out, and 2. i would have had the problem minutes after the new one was put on but this took 2 days. I also tried an EGR Valve out of a 2000 SL2 along with wires and coil pack from the same car and still ran extremely poor. Right now im driving with the EGR vlave unclipped and it is drivable, but feels very very restricted over 3000 RPM. I step on the gas and the engine sounds like a deep throaty noise (bigger exhaust and muffler peice is off on the air box). With the EGR clipped it is barely drivable.

Is your cat clogged? Does it get real hot? You can check that. This is the only thing I can think of right off hand that could cause a power loss.

should have got magnaflow i had the same prob.
