Service Engine Light

The service engine light comes on in for my 91 Buick Century and the speedometer stops working.

The car stalls when idling, but when the light comes on it idles better.

I don't have a diagnostic code, and I am not sure how to get one.

Any ideas?

Chuck,A way to see what the problem is is to use a paper clip and see what code is in the puter,there's a site on this,in this group,if you can't find write me and i'll email you it.My addy is [email protected],my name is Dave

Dear Chuck,

I have a 1991 Century and I am having the same problems as you. Were you able to find out any reasons for the problems? Please let me know as I need help. Thank you. Brett.
