So what's the first thing you ever said on AF?

So when you came to AF did you come in swining or did you tip-toe around? If you have the time, find yours. If you only have a dozen posts or so, please don't bother.

Here's mine. (pretty lame )

From a thread titled Mistubishi - 3000GT VR-4 + SUV = ? in Concept cars on 2/28/2001 Its in reference to a picture someone tried to post but was unable to. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...hread.php?t=40

Quote:
Maybe the picture wont post but you could give us the web site and we can take a look for ourselves.

I hope some of you could do better then that.

Do a search for threads older then today. I had to start from more then a year ago or there would be a shitload. Make sure the search is ascending order and it'll be right on top.

Off all things to post about when you're making your first post re: difficulties getting onto the board:

Of course the next day I made my intro

At least on the bright side I kissed AOHell goodbye several months ago

From the Yugo section.

Thread Title: Any 1989 Delta 88 coupe owners? posted on 10-24-2002

Quote:
im curious as to if there are very many delta 88 coupe owners, because i myself have this car with the C group, and its great, im plannin on getting it repainted because it only has 70,000 miles and can go for much more. if anyone else has this let me know. especially if you have added engine upgrades of any sorts and if you know of some performance parts that can be added as well.
Ah, I remember the days...

I’m pretty sure mine was in the FTO section explaining what an FTO was. Those were the days when I was the artist known as FTO Girl.

In the Murcielago board, thread entitled: Anyone can explain me why the Murciélago have changed its looking ?
I said:
Quote:
I tend to like the European reflectors better than the U.S. version, its smaller and more sutle. Yea the U.S. emissions crap sucks, the govt. gets a little too picky with their demands for cars.
I believe this was my first post. From what I remember it was. Since then the Lambo area has kinda gone down hill IMO. Those who were around when Tony and JESUS and Menu posted all the time know what I'm talking about.

Cool

This is easy.

My first post was yesterday and it was to give a guy some bad news about trying to finance a GTR from outside Japan.

hmmm, I think I need to lighten up a little.

I believe Yogs said that if you have 12 or so posts to not bother, but whatever.

Re: So what's the first thing you ever said on AF?

I lurked for a few months, posting very little on another username, which I eventually lost the password for. So then in October 2001, I became Jimmy_11_Cars, because I had, well, 11 cars laying around the place at the time. My first post told everyone what they were. Chris and Marky Mark were both very interested, so my second post detailed where I kept them all.

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...337&goto=77337

For all of those who wondered what happened to the cars:

Renault (wifes car) got sold for a Punto convertible (ugh)
Mondeo, Coupe, 607, 'Lude and Courier were sold on
XR8 was rear ended
Hilux went to the knackers
'Stang went to someone who wanted to restore it.
and the 2002, it turned out wasn't a genuine Turbo, but a modified tii, but I still own the car (Storage)
