Something interesting I'd like to point out...
About a year ago, when I joined up in this forum, there was like maybe five of us. HiFive, myself, GTstang, and a couple of others. But since then, this forum has grown a lot more, with more regulars, and some interesting shit talking to say the least. I'm proud of us.
Let's make 2004 even better. Let's shoot for 100!

booo hondas suck!!!! naw just kidding with ya.
Anyway, i agree, i started posting regularly around here this summer, and i have seen a lot of it. But to be brutley honest this board has slowed down A LOT since this summer, maybe we could try to get more members here from all diffrent years. as far as i can tell I'm the only one that visits a couple times a day who owns a 60s mustang. I mean its cool, and i can help out where i can, but my knowledge of mustangs is 90% all in the mustangs (weather it be rodding out, moding, stock, ect). So thats kind of the down side for me. But hey, i still love it here. |

Yea it has slowed down since summer but the AF as a whole has kinda slowed down right now. You got to remember a lot of us cold weather guys have to hibernate during the winter. It gets awful cold working on the cars outside or even in a garage unless it's heated. People start thinking bout mods and going faster in the summer more as a whole so it will pick-up agian.
I wouldn't mind having more older model Stang owners. But to be honest besides the motors my knwoledge of them is not that large. It's tough to be as well versed in something you haven't seen or worked on every square inch of like I have with Fox and up Stangs.

Yea, that is true, it is hard to know something inside and out unless you really did some serious work on it. Hell i've never ever worked on any other stang but mine(basicly 79&up would be a learning experiance for me). Motor questions are one of the few things i can help out with to everybody.
As for the cold guys - well i don't think may of the mustangers have stuff on me. its been -40C here in moncton(with windchill, and it is windy at times) now for about hm... been awhile about 2 weeks, with about 3 days with nice weather(about -25windchill). My car is torn completely apart, i need about 2-3k more (not inclueding rims, tires, and paint) and i'm dead broke, not a job in site. and to top it off my(ie. parents) garage is half filled up with their junk, so i got about 2 feet work space, also it is NOT heated, and it is a two car garage. You know your a die hard when you have to put on a sweater under your overalls, big socks, sometimes gloves, you can see your breth every time you breath, and your dead broke. but hey, even though shes pretty much just a shell right now, standing back and looking at her is enough motivation for me. Its funny, you see cars that are worth over 400kUS that just pampered when out in the summer, yet the cars that are under 10k go faster, and get about 1,000,000X TLC from the owner. In your face Jay Leno.

I really enjoy the forum, I've learned a lot and for the most part everyone seems to get along pretty well. I'm glad I joined, I look forward to the new year.
