I'm new to this site. Can you please tell me the color coding to the positive/negative wires for the head unit. We bought the car used and theres no way of telling wich is the positive wire and wich is the negative wire to hook up the new head unit. Can anyone help???/

get an adapter. then you don't have to worry about it. with an adapter you just connect the same color wires and plug it in. you can also look in you new stereo's manual, it should have a wire map in it, or at least have the wire's use written on the wire itself.

Buy a 12 volt test light. The positive will light up when the light is between it and a ground (Metal onder the dash). Neg will not iluminate the light.
