Four door bodykit

Ok so everyone says that crx/civic hatch front bars wont fit a four door, can anyone tell me why? Would it be particularly hard to make the modifications to make it fit? It was a afftermarket crx bar that i was planning on fitting. I find it hard to believe that there is that much difference between them.

Sorry for being ignorant but when you say front bars, what exactly are you talking about?

The front bumper, from under the headlights downwards.

Hmm that sounds like a hell of a lot of work, think i might give it a miss and find someone who can just get me a VIS front bar for a 4 door, thanks guys.
