Awhile back my speedometer got stuck at 65. Then eventually it would get stuck at 55 now it gets stuck at 45. Whenever I know I am going under the amount it would get stuck on I could just tap/hit the dash and it would nock back down to the speed I was going or if I was still back to 0 mph. Anyone have any ideas. It seems obvious but who knows. My car has 93000 miles on it and its a civic coupe 97.

hopefully, you just have to pull the needle out a little bit, it might be getting caught on the gauge face because it is pushed in to far.

If it's more than just something simply catching the face of something, I suggest taking it to a speedometer repair/testing shop (yes, they do exsist). Look one up in the yellow pages. Also, if you call a tire shop in the area, they can sometimes recommend one as well.
