Unhappy Subs Question!

Yo! I'm trying to pic out my system at the moment and i'm thinking either 2 10" RF sealed box or 1 12" sealed both with RF amp. Anyone with the same question at one point let me know! Thanks.......later.

Properly installed, two tens will give you more accurate and deeper bass than one twelve. But you'll need a much larger box, it'll be more expensive, and it'll weigh more.

Up to you.

Why not two 12's?? I'll get a pic of my setup and it may help you decide. I've got two 12's.....and still a decent amount of room...well decent amount in accordance with the prelude trunk. But I will never go to anything less...of course my complete setup cost a lot of $$$ that could've gone into go fast parts...but I'm glad I did it.

what is your music style? what is your budget? You will need an amp that can meet the rms requirements on the sub to reap the full benifit of the subwoofer.

a twelve will play lower frequencies, but the 10's will be more loud and accurate.

and remember the install is easily half of the sound and quality you recieve.
