the mobil nsx...
has anyone made this model?
i'm considering purchasing it. looks like a fun kit to make. i'm just wondering if anyone has any reviews on it. thanks. |

All four Tamiya NSX-GT kits are virtually the same, save for the decals... A few examples:

The Avex Mugen NSX has a different rear wing and front bumper.

I have built the kit, but it has been a while. From what I remember, it is an excellent kit with great fit. It also has engine detail!!! with a rear hatch that opens (or can be left in there loose, don't remember exactly) to reveal the engine in better detail.
The big bonus of this car is that the decal scheme is simple. With the Avex Dome car, the decals are much more difficult, the Raybrig car same story, and if you are a little amateurish, avoid the Castrol car altogether. The front bumper needs to be painted 4 colours, which has even made some of the top modellers on this board cringe and walk away.
