Question ''85 Rx-7???

Theres this RX-7 by my house for sale its a 1985 just a coupe AT,AC,PW, CC, sunroof, and only 69k all for 2100/bo. I checked on kbb and its worth 1,555. Are the 85s even ne good or should i just pass and look for sumthin else? Is there ne thing out there for them?

Automatic? Don't bother unless you can (a) talk the guy down to KBB value and (b) are going to swap in a 5-speed.

and if you plan on switching to a 13B... you could keep the 12A but its underpowered... but anythings possible I guess

offer him $1400 and give him your number... that car won't sell fast and he'll be calling you up within the next month and you'll get it for $1400-$1600 easy, then swap to 5-speed

Mazda really only put an automatic tranny on RX-7s for insurance, emissions...blah blah stuff because "the man" made them.

With those miles, it's worth the money...ditto on the 5-speed swap.
