question about Mustang gt

how many valve do a 96 Mustang GT has?

Unless it is a DOHC cobra i believe they are 2valve so since it is an 8 cylinder with each cylinder having 2 vales = 16 valves

2 valves per cylinder, correct. Not very efficient if you ask me, but I'm just a biased ricer...

Why do you think the 2 valve version is sooo old school now. We are all about 3 valves now! lol

3 valves is better than two . I don't know their setup but I'm assuming it's 2 in and 1 out? That's how VW gti's are and they're the only other 3 valve engines I know of..

Yeah 2 intake, 1 exhaust. It's how the new 05 Mustangs engine now is.
