'00 Tahoe, headlights always on, no DRL
Hey all,
I have a '00 Tahoe LT (new style) and since buying it, the headlights are always on, day or night, when running... it doesn't switch over to just DRLs. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fuse or relay that controls this which may be bad? Or might the light sensor on the dash be bad? Thanks for any help. Mark |

Try programming the lights by pressing the dome overhead 4 times in a row you will here a chime.

I assume you have talked to the dealer? I have an 00 and that doesn't happen to me.

I know if that sensor is disconnected your headlamps will be on all the time, same thing probably happens if it goes bad. Should be able to "tap" the dome override button twice to shut them off, if its available on that vehicle it will beep or ding a couple times at you
