yea theres pretty much no way in hell that any hyundai can beat a gsr....heavily modded means....like he has a tenzo sticker on it because he cant afford to get anything else yet....and he still would not lose to a sonata......

A lot of them actually said the GSR would win. I do agree though that the GSR isnt FAST, but it is pretty quick considering what it is.

first off, why is this not possible. the gs-r might weigh a lot less, but the tib has a hell of a lot more torque. it would be a close race...but with a little more driver skill in the tiburon, the tiburon could win.

that guy djmatty(or djnogo on other hyundai boards) always says stuff like that, i wouldnt believe him. but dont knock on sonatas, there are a couple of very nice and pretty fast ones out there.

Ya guys, you cars arent much faster than the Hyundias. I have driven a GSR and a V6 Tib. And the Tib is much nicer to drive. Not sure if it is faster, and if it is it aint much faster.

But really, i dont have a hard time beleaving the guy. I have seen stranger things, like a civic beating a supra. And yes i did witness it with my own eyes. The Supra was a 95 with BPU++ and the Civic was... well im not sure what the civic had but it was a 2000 SiR.

Im not knocking tibs or sonata'a at all . I was laughing at the fact that these kids said they were takin out "HEAVILY MODDED" gsr's with thier hyundia's . any car has some potential if you have some money , but I personally think the tiburon is ugly as hell .

ok i stand corrected...i shouldnt have really jumped all over it...i dont really know that much about tiburons...other than i think they are ugly....thats my opinion.....I BEATED THAT BEATER DUDE! i was just laughing at that guy because he obviously applied THE BIG FISH idea to his story....rather than saying a gsr...he was like heavily modded..like it has rockets on the back and wheelie bars...and like hes lucky to keep that gsr on the road because of all the torque and hp..and he beat him!!!!!!!

however..89turbo....ill never take advice from someone with an eclipse..worst car ever made..next to the camaro...drive by any body shop in america and you will see an eclipse in there being worked on....they fall apart..and they are a CHICKS car...mostly hot girls drive them..and the body is cheap...slow car in a heavy body....whats the depreciation on those...i swear i have seen like 97-98 eclipse's for like 4000 bucks..i dont know where you came from..but please go back...bytheway i have also seen a minivan beat a Si...big deal?????i have seen a dog chase its tail...
