Tell me whats wrong with my car

Ok, this problem isn't fixing itself, and I want to get it fixed.

The car runs fine, idles good, drives fine. But sometimes out of no where the tach will start jumping around all crazy, and the motor surges. It doesn't buck, but it does some wierd jumpy thing. Its not throw any codes either. I had this problem awhile ago, and the shop said it was the coil, and they replaced it and it was ok for awhile, but its starting to do it again. Last time it got so bad, that it started to stall out, and eventually died all together on me.

Could it be the coil going bad again? What would cause the coil to go bad again so fast? How hard is it to replace the coil? Thanks guys. Sorry im asking so much.

Re: Tell me whats wrong with my car

The igniter is probably going out, usually happens after coil replacement.
