Whats wrong with my car? Help now!!!

Ok heres what's going on. Wed. I got my radiator in and hooked up and thought I was in good shape. Well I go to work Thurs. and my car runs fine. Get in it (noticed it had rained) and started to drive off. Well in between 2-3k rpm in 1st and 2nd it did this little jerk/miss type thing. Well it kept doing it so I was like crap. That is what it did last year when my distributor went bad. Well I had to go across state on a personal trip. Well I get there and wash my car cause it was really dirty. Well I get in after washing the car and right after 2k it's like putputputputputput (really fast) then takes off like nothings wrong. So I park it for the weekend and go to leave today and it keeps doing it and also does it in 3rd and 4th in between 2-4k. I have the monster style hood with the cutouts right above the distributor. I noticed about a 1/8in gap between the dizzy cap/black plug where the 2 wires go in/dizzy. Could water have gotton in there and done that? Shouldn't it have dried up over the weekend? Need help quick!

Yeah, its could be water in there. Should it have dried out? Not likely.

So this thing won't dry out by it's self? I figured all the engine heat would dry it out.

Engine heat may heat it up into vapor and let it get into even tighter cracks and such, but it's not likely to dry itself out.
Time to take things apart and get Mr hair dryer into action.
