Re: WHEEL HOPS IN 93 ACCORD WITH H22A Please HELP
haha more power lol.
well usually some get better traction tires, and lower the PSI. but i say man really its needed for a LSD transmission. a guy who is selling his accord tuned with a lsd transmission now has no wheel hop which he didnt like.

Check with a speed shop... what may help is changing your engine mounts with stiffer bushings, or completely different mounts... that would probably help with the wheel hop but will give you more vibration from the motor.
Talk with guys that have big hp front wheel drive cars... like down at your local drag strip and ask them. Wheel hop is common for fixed up late models like the 4th generation accord. good luck |

I'd check your motor mounts, if they are worn they can cause wheel hop

Re: WHEEL HOPS IN 93 ACCORD WITH H22A Please HELP
reinforce the motor mounts with Urethane supports, and or fill them with urethane. This will prevent some of the wheel hop. Even mid (160ish) horsepower 4th gens have nasty wheel hop, so don't feel too bad. Depending upon which wheels are hopping (if you can tell), etc, adjustable shocks or an adjustable front sway bar could be utilized to tune the wheel hop down a bit.
