need help wiring amp to reciever
hi im currently installing an alpine t707 amp in my friends mercedes ml320...the reciever is stock and i have never worked with one without a preamp...can anyone help me with how i connect the receiver to the amp (specifics on splicing, what tools, what wires) any help is appreciated thank you.

if im not mistaken, the thing that i would use is called an fm modulator

You'll need a line output convertor. Basically it taps into the speaker signal and converts it to a low-level signal which you then carry to the amp through a set of rcas. They're pretty cheap and easy to install.

so with one of these line output convertors, i can just strip the part of the stock pseaker wires, splice and use electrical tape to the convertor? any help would be greatly appreciated...also would there be a way so i dont have to splice any wires so i can disconnect everything in the future without problems.
