Unhappy having factory alarm problems

my key no longer disables the alarm so when I unlock the car and open the door the alarm goes off??? meaning I can't drive my car because the alarm also disables the ignition. can anybody offer advice

Maybe disconnect the box in the trunk. I'm pretty sure its on the passenger side under the carpet.
