Fuel Filter

I need instructions for the installation of a fule filter in a 96 4Runner. Is there a valve I need to cut off before hand? Is the line pressurized, ect.?

Re: Fuel Filter

I've got a 92, not sure if it's exactly the same, but is fuel injection - so filter should be similar. No valve to shut off, it is under some pressure so be ready for it to leak when you loosen bolts. Just be sure you don't have any hot trouble lights close by. Be sure to put new washers on when replacing - if it is the banjo type - bolt, washer, gas line, washer-fuel filter. Same on both ends.
It has an in & out - make sure it mount it correctly!
Watch how you take the old one off.
