Question Got a Chevy Silverado for Free

Over the weekend i got a 89 Chevy Silverado. It was given to me from a relative. Run alright. Needs a tune up bad. What site can I check to give me the full specs of the truck. Anything in mind?

Re: Got a Chevy Silverado for Free

Use the VIN# for this. Not sure where to go, but a dealer would be glad to help ya.
IS it a V6 or V8? 1500, 2500? 2 or 4 wheel drive?

awesome..welcome to the world of solving other peoples problems..lol. seriously, i have had 2 integras given to me in the last year and i fixed one up and sold it, and the other is a hobby car. is this going to be your primary foor of transportation, or a hobby car? Good think for you is that you will most likely be able to find parts easily, and you wont need crazy diagnostic computers to figure out what might be wrong.

have fun.

Go to autozone.com Look under repair information. You should be able to find online manual with all the info.
