Unhappy Any way to change Keyless Entry Operation

I don't like having to press the unlock button on the Keyless Entry twice to get all of the doors to unlock on my 2000 Regal.

Is there any way to get the system to unlock all of the doors on the first button press?

Yes it can be done!

There are 2 ways to do it, one is using a GM scanner, the other way you can do and it is listed in your owner's manual. I don't have the procedure handy to paste to here. It is called personalization in your owners manual!

Thumbs down

I checked that section in my manual. It helped me change the lock and unlock mode to flash the lights and honk the horn but didn't say anything about unlocking all of the doors on the first press.

Re: Any way to change Keyless Entry Operation

It should be in there. I know that I can change the modes with the GM scanner and somewhere in my tool box I have the procedure to do it with no tools. I will have to look around and find it.
