Re: 92 grand am heat does not blow out strong
it is not with the Computer. Your vents might be partially plugged. Or you Blend doors are not opperating properlly

92 Grand Am Heat not blowing
I have the same car and had the same problem........ the problem is that the condensor is plugged up full of bug and debris that is restricting the airflow through it to go into the passenger compartment. What you have to do is take off the Air Inlet Duct....... which is the whole black thing that runs along the firewall on the engine side and then use a vaccuum and brush to suck/clean out all of the debris that is blocking the condesor. It is a real pain in the butt, but very worth the time if you want your airflow back.

Re: 92 grand am heat does not blow out strong
where is the condenser located is the condenser the radiator or is it on the radiator?

i wrote a response to this thread yesterday but somehow it didn't show up so im writing it again. The problem might not be the ecm but the wires leading up to the ecm and u should get that checked cause my car just got out of the garage and that was the problem also i changed the thermostat and the blower fan.

the condensor is just behind the firewall but also behind the black air duct that the heater fan is in. In order to get to it you'll have to take the black air ducting off.

I also have a 92 Pontiac Grand Am and I am having the same problem, except for a new issue........the heater is suddenly making a loud grinding noise. Could this be related to the condenser being clogged or would is the heater motor just going out? Thanks!!
