Well, the autoloc "shaved door kit" works by popping the latch using heavy duty solenoids. I am not sure if they actually unlock the door and pop the latch, or just pop the latch. Adding acuators to the door for power locks is pretty easy if you need it cuz it only just pops the latch. I know the acuators are relivly cheap, and it shouldn't cost too much more to have them put in if you have it done while you are installing the autoloc product you are considering. Go to an alarm shop in your area and check into it, though I am not sure the prices you'll find out where you area at. Try calling autoloc and asking them weather there shaved kit unlocks the door and pops the lock or just pops the lock.

Why would you need power locks if you have shaved handles???

Hey, it's his question, ask him...lol. Maybe he still wants to lock the doors when he gets out. I don't know about you, but why not. It never hurts to be able to lock, unlock the doors, and he's not going to do it otherwise from the outside with no handles.
