The car had been running great until I borrowed the battery, and upon reinstallation, I disturbed some of the wiring to the Alpine security system. Since then the car cranks but does not fire. Further investigation revealed that the fuel pump has no electrical power going to it. But the fuel pump fuse is good and has power to both sides. The question is, is it possible that the Alpine security system has disabled the fuel pump? The engine will fire and run briefly if we spray starting fluid into the air horns. Anybody had a problem like this?
