on paper, from wut u've said that sounds like a good deal.

need to know if the car has ever been wrecked/stolen or anything like that to say if its an "excellent" deal however. post up that information and i'll give u some more feedback.

Re: help on buying prelude

they told me it was a clean title, no crash damage visible, did the free lemon check and it was ok, is stock which might indicate it has never been raced/abused.

Seems like a winner, check to see it shifts smoothly, and that the body agrees with the miles on the car. Look out the the rough idle problem. Look up its VIN and get its vehicle history. Check the records for wrecks, if it has been repaired to look nice again, there are sometimes still internal problems.

There is nothing too special about Preludes that you should be especially careful about, just the usual routine check that you should do on any car when shopping. Good luck, I think it's pretty nice. Still, haggle away.

looks can be deceiving.. check w/ carfax...and check the vin#s inside the hood, on the fenders, back trunk.. etc.. if they aren't there, that means they aren't the original ones... might look 'stock' but you never know... if u need help w/ running carfax, let me know, i can help u w/ it.. good luck... sounds like u got yourself a good deal though..
