Re: Need help Converting Automatic Into Manual

Not a Mitsu expert, but you may want to call the local junkyards and buy a wrecked car with no motor .The small pieces you need for this swap will drive you nuts unless you have a parts car to pull them from.

I checked out that website but it was for a front wheel drive GST Conversion. I assume its simular except the fact that I need a transfer case for mine.

Can anyone tell me or direct me to a site that tells me every single part that goes on the drivetrain for a Manual and a Automatic GSX AWD. I have peiced together more of what i need but i feel like im missing something.

Parts needed:
Brake/Clutch Pedal Assembly
Transmission/Transaxel Assembly (Im not sure how many splines i need)
Transfer Case (I think I can match a 22 spline with 22 spline Trans)
Back Plate (adjustment May be needed)
Clutch Assembly
Clutch Cables
Shift Kit
Clutch Master/Slave Cylinder
Flywheel
Clutch Fluid Line
Cable Hold Downs and a Firewall Gasket
Flywheel Crankshaft Bolts
