When i put my r32 in gear is feels like the drive shaft the driveshaft is jerking. I can feel it through the the floor boards. When I really can notice, just when I am daily driving to work and back. Is this normal.

Re: driveshaft????????????????

To the Skylines use a CVs or Universals in the driveshaft?

It sounds like a worn out universal, common problem on well aged RWD cars.
Either that or a lose gear box or engine mount, its possible the rubber has torn away and the engine/gearbox is swinging around.

Its also possible, altough extremly unlikely that the diff is badly worn and about to pop, but they are exremely strong, and take one hell of a lot of abuse.

Re: driveshaft????????????????

There's a U-joint just behind the gearbox, as the axle is in two pieces, one short piece out of the box, the other longer piece to the diff. Maybe that's bad, or the mounting and bearing at the U-joint is bad.
