who would win in 1/4 mile and also who would win downshifting from 60to110 and lets say they're both great drivers.

My money would be on the B18B1 from a dead stop and the B16 on the mid range. But the B18B1 in the top end too.

ANYthing in a Civic is soo unbelievibly slow.. my dog could put out more torque.. i mean 170hp and only 111 tq.. comon.. some of that has to make it out to the wheels.. b18 all the way.. and f22 too

btw, whyte Gsr b0i, a b16a has MUCH potential. no, outta the box it isn't very fast, but wut b series motor really is on the large scale of racing? no honda motor truly has "much" torque. the h22/h23 are some-what more respectable, but still low compared to other car companies. u want torque, buy some displacement and another company.

ture. but torque is what makes my accord faster then others tho it doesnt have very much hp.. i guess i got a thing against civics too.. ionno look nice.. but I have never really found a civic w/a civic engine fast enough to look twice at.... they are always swaped for something better....

what? Honestly what are you talking about? What are you saying that makes your accord better than a civic? You would be talking about power curve...

Not to buck the trend, but in a 5th-gen hatch, I'd go with the b16. With 18 more hp and the advantage of VTEC, it'd take a b18b in the mid-top end. Both drivers being equal, of course.

Dude what are u guys talkin about...B16 in a hatch...those are hella light.

Plus you would have VTEC in the b16....

and the poll was who would win in the 1/4 mile...I think the B16 would take a B18b in a 1/4 mile.

Highway race would be a different story....
