will this engine work

i have a 95 eclipse gst and am buying a 97 gst motor for my 95. the 97 is a auto trans and my car is a manual trans. will this motor still work in my car? please help thanks

If you are planning to drop in the 97 and have it bolt up to the manual tranny you have a suprise coming.

You will have to do alot of work to get the manual to fit the auto engine. But if you just plan on leaving it auto, then it wont be as hard, as long as you have the driveshafts from the auto and the wiring harness.
